Synopsis : Czech Republic, nowadays. Voisin, a prison guard and castrating father moves into a village with Ferda Voisin (10), his son. He suffers from this paternal terror.
On the other side of the road, Jana lives with Hyppolite, her unemployed and hypochondriac husband. Jana cannot stand this situation any longer. She is the manager and cashier in a supermarket owned by her father. They stopped talking to each other when she married this despicable man, who sinks a little more each day in his paranoia. While their two children, Robin and Julek, grow also at odds with the power of adults.
Milan, a successful pimp, stops by her supermarket to buy cigarettes. For Jana, it is love at first sight. She sets off to conquer his heart. But Milan is in love with Sylvie, a stripper who is expecting her boyfriend who is serving a sentence in the prison where Voisin works as a guard …
